UNBUNDLING THE UNTAPPED LEADERSHIP POTENTIAL IN MHA, NASSARAWA WEST IN VIEW

For years since Democratic governance returned to Nigeria after years of dictatorial military administration, Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi continued to expressed his willingness and interest for elective position at different levels.
He is one individual whose principles and tenacity for governance when given the opportunity has always recorded unprecedented achievements.
The first ,after he served as local government deputy chairman in his home town karu, Nasarawa State, was appointed commissioner of justice.
Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi, continued to rise and function in government and served Nasarawa State at different levels under the previous administrations, untill in 2010 where he indicated interest to contest election to represent Nasarawa west,a contest he slugged out with the immediate past governor, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and the then occupant of the position ,senator Abubakar Danso Sodangi,but was unsuccessful as the former governor defeated the seating senator and Barrister Mohammed Hassan, during that primary election.
Upon the election of Alhaji Umaru Tanko Almakura and his subsequent swearing in as governor after unseating the incumbent governor, now late, Dr Aliyu Akwe Doma, Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi, again made a return to power in the prestigious Nasarawa State government house as cabinet member ,appointed as commissioner for justice .
He was later dropped along his colleagues when the administration reshuffled it cabinet ,but reappointed as special adviser to the governor on special duties.
Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi being a determine individual who is always willing to offer himself for service through the power of the ballot, in 2015 contested for the Federal House of Representative, seeking to represent keffi, Kokona and karu. However had his chances mortgage for some obvious reasons not unconnected to a religious balance,to avoid acrimony owing to the fact that the elected senator, a Muslim, so having a Muslim at the federal house representatives would have been a worrying political imbalanced.
It was at this point that the immediate past Governor, senator Umaru Tanko Almakura, appointed him the state secretary to the government, upto the expiration of his eight years tenure as governor of Nasarawa State, luckily enough for Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi, secured appointment of the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari,to serve as Minister of Science, technology and innovations, the appointment that Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi, enjoyed till date.
Since his appointment as minister of state, he has been a major factor in the development of science and technology,impacting on Nigeria citizens advanced global innovations that has tremendously transformed technical skills and inventions in both secondary and tertiary institutions, through the support he gets from his senior minister, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu.
Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi ,is a prince from Uke development area,he holds the traditional tittle of Magajin Garin Uke of the yakanaje chiefdom.
Looking forward to 2023, this solicitor and Nigeria federal minister is warming up for the Senate.He has all it takes ranging from experience,exposure and contacts.coming from a highly competitive political zone in Nasarawa State,the minister is not unaware of others who have also put in early interest to contest for the Senate position.
His tentacles on each passing day is expanding via his unpublicized contributions in shaping institutions and human empowerments,Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi is not the usual politician that flaunts his records and attainments in attempt to attracting well-wishers.
Recently at an event organised by NASSA a student organisation of the Nasarawa State University Keffi, the minister took it upon himself and empowered 200 computer science undergraduates.
He has also as a result of the support he gets from his principal created no fewer than 5 notable appointment for sons and daughters of Nasarawa State at the ministry of science and technology agencies, who are today board members,among many.
Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi in a show of his readiness for the 2023 contest has embarked on rural transformation of the senatorial zone,as at the moment,there is solar light installation ongoing at uke.
He once said” I joined politics by coincidence,when i attended a political party rally and that interest me.Since then I go off and on ,alternating between legal practice and politics,as of now I have 30 years post-call experience.
The state minister of the federal Ministry of science, technology and innovation is an embodiment of untapped potentials awaiting the votes of the electorates to reel out his leadership pedigrees which he has over the years garnered.The ground appears ripe for thim as he closely and responsibly discharges his political and leadership qualities.
One of his closet associates,who is the immediate past chairman of karu local government,also described Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi as a visionary and frank person,he said the minister. maintains a high level of political maturity and demonstrated his willingness to building formidable policies that can add value to human development.
