The Minister of Environment Barr. Mohammed H. Abdullahi has said “collaboration is key for any nation to develop”.
The Minister said this when he received the 18 European Union Ambassadors to Nigeria , led by Ms. Samuela Isopi, the EU Ambassador to Nigeria they paid a courtesy visit to the Environment Ministry Headquarters in Mabushi, Abuja.
Mr Abdullahi his statement, said Nigeria as a delegation in preparation for COP27 in Egypt will unanimously work together with the EU and not going for a NO IT ALL APPROACH , we will call for collaborations, sharing of ideas which will be beneficial and of value for Nigeria as a Nation and Africa at large.
The Minister further talked on Energy Transition programme, Green House 2030, Climate Finance and NetZero Emission by 2060, stating that Nigeria will take its position at COP27 in Egypt, Sharm El-Sheikh.
Ms. Samuela in her remarks thanked the Minister for their warmly reception and further reiterated the EU’s commitment to collaborate with the Nigeria.
